April Rector’s Letter

Dear Parish Family,   

Holy Week is Almost Here
We are on the verge of Holy Week, which begins this Sunday with Palm Sunday. It’s our biggest week of the year and there are many amazing activities planned. Make sure to review them all in our Holy Week Booklet.

We will start outdoors this Sunday on the back of the property (unless it rains) and go in procession waving palm branches just as the crowds did on the first Palm Sunday when our Lord rode into Jerusalem from the Mount of Olives. Holy Week is both experiential and participatory. It is designed to help us engage with each of the last moments of our Lord’s life through the reading and acting out of Holy Scripture. Please make plans to join us for the unique liturgies of Holy Week, which stretch us, and invite us to gain a more complete appreciation of the saving work of Jesus Christ for each of us.

I am so excited for Holy Week and Easter!  I hope to see you in Church!
