An interactive process for adults seeking to deepen their relationship with the Lord and perhaps also seeking baptism, confirmation, or reception. Leaders are experienced in the process and participants are accompanied on the journey by companions who have made the journey in previous years. Childcare is provided.
The goal of the series is true formation, moving Christians from being passive recipients of the Faith to a more active and ministering role in the Body of Christ. The classes begin talking about man's condition, being separated from God and desiring fellowship with Him and move all the way through the Church's understanding of Holy Scripture, the Sacraments, the history of the Church, and practical ways that we can live out our faith each day. The class uses the same methods that Jesus did: love the people who come, teach them bit by bit, and form a community of believers who are hungry to know the Lord and to serve Him.
The Christian Formation program, developed by Fr. William Blewett, is a widely celebrated program, now being used in many Anglican and Episcopal parishes throughout North America, South America, and Africa.
Christian Formation sessions are from 6:00-7:45pm on Sunday nights, September-April in the Parish Hall. Please contact Fr. Jordan here for more information.
