St. Laurence Church sponsors Troop 168, an active, outdoor, boy-led troop. Focus is on fun and adventure with every activity while incorporating teamwork and community service. For boys age 11 or 5th-12th grades. They meet every Sunday from 4:00-5:30 in the Parish Hall and have campouts once a month. Contact Scoutmaster Hector Reyes or check out their website for more info.
Our Boy Scout Troop was honored by the Southlake City Council in recognition of their outstanding service to the community. September 1, 2015 was proclaimed "Boy Scouts of America Troop 168 Day." Our troop has put up and taken down the American flags at Town Square on special days since 2010.
Troop 168 was established in 2002 and currently includes approximately 35 scouts. To date, 42 scouts have achieved the rank of Eagle Scout, which is the highest rank a youth scout can attain.
